Malnutrition remains a critical challenge in northern Nigeria, but JCDI, with support from FHI360 and Alive & Thrive, has been working to change that. From 2022 to 2024, the MIYCN project trained health workers, mentored mothers, and promoted exclusive breastfeeding, complementary feeding, and maternal nutrition practices. Community outreach ensured that even the most remote families received lifesaving information. This project has strengthened health systems and empowered mothers to give their children the best start in life.
