Tuberculosis continues to affect thousands in Sokoto State, but early detection is saving lives. Through partnerships with ARFH, Plan International, and the Global Fund, JCDI trained community health volunteers to conduct house-to-house TB screening across Sokoto North, Gwadabawa, Goronyo, and other LGAs. These volunteers are not only detecting cases but also helping patients stick to treatment plans. Their dedication proves that community-driven health solutions are the backbone of sustainable disease control.
